Please join us for our annual ladies’ tea. Ladies are invited to gather together, both from the community and the church, to enjoy food and fellowship, as well as hear a devotional from our honored speaker, Marilyn Osborn. Please be sure to contact us or see Staci Joffrion for your spot by April 1st so we can ensure adequate food and seating. We look forward to seeing you there!
Come join us as we watch the Super Bowl and enjoy the Men’s Pastalya Cookoff. To enter in the Cookoff, be sure to show up with your best pastalya dish by 4:30p. Super Bowl watch party will start at 5p and awards will be announced at half time! Along with pastalya, we will have other dishes and ladies will be providing desserts.
The students meet Sunday afternoon from 2 pm-4 pm at the church to play different recreational games. This can include anything from board games inside to dodgeball, volleyball, basketball and more outdoors. A group devotional is included each time to connect the purpose of fun with the focus on Christ.
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Their mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. They ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.
FBC Plaquemine collects these boxes and distributes them to a local distribution location. At our church, you can receive a box and are able to package it with toys and other essentials as a demonstration of God's love in a tangible gift.
